I’m Ali, your marriage celebrant, and I make sure your ceremony sounds like you and nobody else.

I’ve been a celebrant since 2015 and I still get a little teary at every wedding. Before that, I spent years in journalism, PR and marketing, which is where I learned to ask good questions and actually listen to the answers. It’s why your ceremony reads like a story about the two of you, not a template with your names dropped in.

My job is to work out how you want the day to feel, then build the ceremony around that. The legal side runs quietly in the background. You’ll know what’s needed and when, and you won’t have to chase any of it.

Whether you want a ceremony we write together from scratch or just the legal bits, you are always guaranteed to get this from me: a warm, easygoing energy that puts you at ease fast, and enough experience behind me to handle whatever the day throws our way.
